Zophobas morio (darkling beetle), whose larvae are known by the common name superworm or zophobas.

The worms will eat the bedding, but do require a great deal of moisture for drinking. This is the dilemma. The worms need the water, but too much water will get into the bedding, and the bedding will ferment. The fermentation will create a nice home for bacteria, and this will kill the worms. We have found that if we use potato, and/or apple slices that we have had the best result. The worms drink from the slices, and the bedding stays dry.

owner's tips

bumili ka ng superworms, mga 100-200pcs.

paghiwahiwalayin mo na ng containers, para mg molt into pupa, kasi kung mgkakasama padin at pinapakain pinapainom, habang buhay na sila worms, mamamatay na silang worms,. kapag sineparate mo ng lalagyanan ang mga worms hindi siya papakainin at papainumin.. then after 10 - 14days magpupupate na yun at magiging "alien".. ung mga alien pwede nang pagsama-samahin sa isang lalagyanan, then ihiwalay nlang kung beetles na, lagay na sa breeding cage na may purina or oatmeal.. pupulbusin nila ung beddings at gagawing buhangin un ung kakainin nila and water source fruits or vegetables.

every two weeks harvest ng small worms, kasi kakainin nila yun.. hiwalay ng lalagyanan kung saan papalakihin nyo ng 2-3months dipende padin sa pakaen kung gano kabilis lalaki..

then pakain nyo na sa alaga nyo..hahaha you can produce thousands of worms..
